About the Hotel

Our chalet was first built in the early 1800s, and used to be the home in which priest Aim?Gorret lived before he climbed the Matterhorn on 17.07.1865 for the first time ever on the Italian side. His amazing accomplishment opened the valley and Cervinia to the world and determined it becoming a worldwide famous resort for skiing and alpinism. My family (relative to Aim?Gorret) turned the chalet in a Hotel around 1950. With ski-to-door access, Hotel Meubl?Gorret is set in Breuil-Cervinia. Facilities include a heated ski storage and a sauna located in an original room with glass ceiling and impressive mountain views.. All rooms at Hotel Meubl?Gorret offer lovely mountain views as well as free Wi-Fi and satellite TV. Some also have a balcony. The bathroom has a hairdryer and slippers. Breakfast is a buffet with croissants, cold meats and cheeses. A choice of restaurants, shops and caf? are a 5-minute walk away. The Cervino Golf Club is a 5-minute walk from Meubl?Gorret Hotel.
