Stoos is a tiny and peaceful, car free holiday resort, at an altitude of 1300 m, in the heart of central Switzerland. It's reachable by funicular from Schwyz-Schlattli and by cable car from Morschach. The hotel is situated a few hundered meters from the top stations. Main attractions, like Fronalpstock cable car and a Wellness area, hiking trails and the ski area are at less than 200 m. Lake Lucerne and it's boat cruises, The Swiss Knife Museum, Schwyz, Muotathal with H?loch cave or worldfamous Rigi-Mountain are reachable in less than 30 min. Zurich and Lucerne at approximately 45 min. This hotel is a traditional establishment where guests can enjoy a holiday with peace and relaxation in this car free resort. Facilities include restaurant serving traditional swiss food with its terrace and garden, conference facilities, lift, internet access and laundry service. All the rooms have an en suite bathroom with a shower/WC, satellite/cable TV and a direct dial telephone. Central heating is also provided. Golfers will find the Golf Club Axenstein around 3.5 km away. From the north on the motorway A4, exit at Schwyz and drive in the direction of Muotathal as far as the funicular of Schlattli (about 7 km). From the south on the motorway A2, take the exit n?36 Fl?len on the level of Altdorf, continue as far as Schwyz and then follow the instructions above. Or turn right at Morschach until the cable-car base station. Free parking spaces at both stations. In public transport: take a train until Schwyz, then the bus until Schlattli-Talstation and then the Funicular up to Stoos. By cable-car: take a train until Brunnen, a bus until Morschach-Talstation and from there the cable-car to Stoos.
