HotelDescription#The camp is situated on Drakes Bay, on the Osa Peninsula, south pacific Costa Rica. It can be accessed by air from San Jose or on land via Sierpe and by water from Sierpe to Drakes Bay. The bus station is within 15 minutes' walk and the beach is roughly 350 m away. The camp is built on a hill that allows a view of the forest and Drakes Bay. It has 10 fully equipped tents and a restaurant, with excellent views of the forest and Drakes Bay. The Corcovado area is known for its natural beauty, virgin forests and variety of flora and fauna. Renovated in 2009, the camp offers a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, TV lounge, bar, restaurant, a laundry service, car park and bicycle hire. The accommodation units consist of tents mounted on wooden platforms with roofs. Each platform has its own bathroom with a shower and 110-volt electricity. Tents have 1 queen-size bed or 1 double and one single. All have beautiful views. The accommodations have a balcony or terrace. The packages include food and tours according to the length of stay; for 3 nights the camp offers a tour to Corcovado National Park and Cano Island. Also available are tours with horse riding, diving, bird watching, kayaking and bat watching, as well as dolphin and whale watching, fishing and more. Massage treatments are also available. A continental breakfast is served each morning. The packages established for Hotelbeds include land and water transportation from the hotels in San Jose with a return trip. Transportation from or to Quepos, Manuel Antonio can be arranged.
