Hello! Welcome to our wonderful, quiet and relaxed B&B. Diane and I have travelled extensively, have lived in Europe for years and enjoy the company of our guests. Diane worked as a nurse in the UK, and later market manager for one of the large multinationals in New Zealand. I studied Psychology for many years and, after having joined another multinational, set up my own company specialising in survey research in healthcare. We married in Zimbabwe on a photo safari and are both incurable romantics. Just 25 minutes?drive from Auckland, The Ambers Bed & Breakfast is a luxurious Georgian-style manor house, set in beautiful grounds. Free Wi-Fi and gourmet cooked breakfast are included. The rooms at The Ambers are decorated in individual styles with great views over the gardens. All feature en suite bathrooms and include tea/coffee making facilities and broadband internet access. A gourmet cooked breakfast is included in the room rate along with pre-dinner drinks and canap?. Guests can relax in front of an open fireplace in winter, or enjoy the views from the sunny terrace. Games such as chess and p?anque are available. The Ambers is a 5-minute drive from Silverdale. Local attractions include beautiful beaches and golf courses.
