We absolutely love living in this beautiful Bay right on the waters edge, our neighbours are all lovely people and the ever changing vistas of boats coming and going to the Marina is interesting and colourful. Set on the waterfront in the Tutukaka Harbour, 23 km from Whangarei, 36 Steps to the Beach offers unique cabins with their own garden and seating area. Free kayaks are provided for guest enjoyment. The cabins are located behind the property owners home, and are literally 36 steps to the beach. The cabins share a bathroom, kitchenette, laundry and a well stocked utility room with tea and coffee making facilities, a toaster and free condiments. The large waterfront deck has loungers and a table, which are only 4 metres to the water. The cabins are walking distance to the Tutukaka Marina, which offers diving and day trips to the Poor Knights. The Tutukaka Marina has shops, art gallery, restaurants & cafes. Guests can enjoy coastal walks, and there is a golf course within 2 km. Free parking is available. Please inform 36 Steps to the Beach in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required.
