Home to our family, we are unashamedly informal. The house is full of books and our eclectic art collection and the paraphernalia of family life. Located on the banks of River Wye, in Hereford, East Friars offers free WiFi, free parking and a conservatory where breakfast is served. The property is only 5 minutes walk from the city centre. The family-run East Friars offers rooms overlooking the river or garden. There is a ground floor annex with its own front door. Guests are welcome to make use of the family garden and terrace by the river. In the mornings, East Friars serves home-cooked full English breakfast. Bread is freshly prepared onsite each day and the bacon, sausages, and free-range eggs are locally sourced. The breakfast tomatoes are also slow roasted each morning. Packed lunches and special diet menus are available on request. Guests can relax in the garden and sun terrace. An array of activities can be enjoyed nearby, including hiking, canoeing, fishing and visiting the Mappa Mundi. Walking trails can be found along the river. Hereford Cathedral and the historic Old House are only 10 minutes stroll away. The towns shopping is found within the same distance. Guests are requested to inform the property of their expected arrival time. This can be noted in the Special Request box when booking. If guests need to arrive prior to 16:30, this must be agreed upon with prior arrangement. A late check in cannot be guaranteed. Please supervise children at all times.
