This historic Swiss mountain cottage in Gimmelwald can be found next to the cable car connecting the village of Stechelberg to the Schilthorn summit. The Pension Gimmelwald is located in the Bernese Oberland, in the heart of the Swiss Alps. The car-free resort 1350 metres above sea level is only reachable by cable car from the Lauterbrunnen Valley 50 km of ski slopes are available in the area. Experienced skiers can ski right down to the front door. There is a also a cross-country skiing track in the valley between Lauterbrunnen and Stechelberg. In summer, you can enjoy hiking and fishing in a nearby lake. The Bern-Belp Airport is reachable within a 1-hour drive.
