We are on a 900 m sand road in a traditional Zulu tribal area. Please drive carefully as people in the area walk everywhere. There are no public services, and we are surrounded by natural indigenous trees and shrubs with bush babies, monkeys ground nesting squirrels and geckos ( who sometimes make rather a mess!). Please do not expect a sophisticated experience. We embrace barefoot casual living in an area free of shopping centres, TV aerials and noise. Situated in Sodwana Bay, Crafters Lodge features accommodation adjoining the World Heritage Site of Isimangaliso Wetland Park. The property offers comfortable, bushveld living and features a salt-water pool. Each unit is air-conditioned, and some units have a kitchen fitted with an oven. Free private parking is available on site. This property encourages small wild life, and there are monkeys, bush babies, ground-nesting squirrels and a variety of birds on the premises. Crafters Lodge us within 5 km of the beach, where activities such as snorkelling, kite surfing, scuba diving and whale watching in season are popular.
