Situated amongst vineyards, the Vrede en Lust manor house dates back to 1688 and has been converted into elegant cottages with open fireplaces. The extensive gardens include an outdoor pool. They all have modern private bathrooms and boast views over the surrounding countryside. A shuttle can be arranged in the evenings for guests to experience the culinary delights from the variety of other restaurants in close proximity to the estate. Vrede en Lust Estate offers tastings of the wine produced in its cellars and other vineyards in the Franschhoek region are within 20 km of the estate. Situated in Simondium, Vrede en Lust Estate is a 10 minute drive to Paarl and 20 minutes by car to Stellenbosch. Free private parking is provided. Please inform Vrede en Lust Estate in advance of your expected arrival time.
