Hotel-Pension Bleckmann stands out because of its unique positioning on 3 out of 6 floors within an historical turn-of-the-century building. Being situated in such a typical Viennese building is great because of the atmosphere that comes with the historical design and traditional structure of the general building. Oddities such as the first floor actually being on the third level, the elevator not starting on the ground floor and 3,5 m high ceilings add to the individual and unique character of our petite B&B with only 27 rooms. Not to mention the fact that the building also accommodates 2 psychological doctors practices (after all were in Sigmund Freuds neighbourhood) and a very successful contemporary music composer, who left Berlin because of his love for Vienna, our music and his wife. The family-run Hotel-Pension Bleckmann is only a few steps from the Ringstra? boulevard, Vienna University and the Votive Church. It offers free WiFi and a breakfast buffet. The rooms provide a private bathroom, satellite TV and a desk. All rooms facing the street have sound-proofed windows. Most rooms look onto the courtyard and are very quiet. At an additional cost, guests of the Bleckmann can park their cars in a parking garage opposite the hotel. The closest tram and bus stop is only 100 metres away. The Schottentor Underground Station at the edge of the historic first district of Vienna is only 400 metres away. The Museum Quarter and the Hofburg Palace are 3 underground stops away.
